CAFF provides a platform for Arctic and non-Arctic youth to raise awareness about the Arctic and to discuss Arctic issues, strategies, and policies. This platform seeks to advance a number of CAFF priorities and broader Arctic Council mandates expressed in Ministerial Declarations addressing meaningful engagement of Arctic communities, international collaboration, and engagement with Observers.

CAFF has developed the Arctic Youth Engagement Strategy: 2021-2026 which outlines the need for and value of youth engagement and addresses key considerations and opportunities for CAFF as it implements future work. This strategy was developed with direct input from youth leaders who served as key advisers in developing this document.
