AMBI has already benefited substantially from observer country support and cooperation, and to maintain this momentum by organizing in partnership with the U.S. and Chinese Governments, a third in a series of AMBI technical workshops. Two previous AMBI workshops have been held in the Netherlands (April 2016) and Singapore (January 2017).
AMBI is demonstrating how Arctic and Non-Arctic countries can efficiently work together to save their shared heritage - migratory birds and their habitats.
The workshop is intended to focus on AMBI priority species in the region and to help facilitate experience- sharing between Arctic Council member states, observers, and non-Arctic Council related countries important for achieving AMBI aims. The workshop is being held in conjunction with a Meeting of the Partners to the East Asian - Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP).
